Preventative Measures for COVID-19

​

At RapidMED Express, it is our highest priority to keep our patients and staff healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.

With the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we closely monitor and are following the direction of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH).

​

Measures to Keep You and Others Safe

 

Our staff is mindful of our patients in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We utilize frequent hand washing and other infection prevention control methods when meeting with each of our patients.

COVID-19 Risk Factors

​

Furthermore, if you or your loved ones have any of the below symptoms or risk factors, please seek immediate medical care:

​

  • Fever

  • Flu-like symptoms

  • Dry cough

  • Fatigue

  • Lost of taste or smell

  • Respiratory issues

  • Headache

  • Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea

  • Or have any other risk factors

 

Remember, elderly people and individuals with chronic medical conditions are at a greater risk for COVID-19.

 

Prevention Practices

 

Per Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website guidelines (see hyperlink button), in order to prevent the risk of obtaining and spreading any virus, including COVID-19,  include utilizing some of the following preventative measures:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub.

  • Maintain at least six feet distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.

  • Avoid touching your face.

  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

  • Stay home if you feel unwell.

  • Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.

  • Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.
